Tram 1491 VHF 144-175 Mhz Tunable Base Fiberglass Antenna. 14' 10 (4.52 m) tall. Mast diameter accepted is 1 3/16" to 2 7/16". The mounting brackets are designed to fit on a mast from 1 3/16" to 2 7/16".
Comes in poly bag with header. The radiator and coil are hermetically sealed in fiberglass tubing to assure low SWR in all weather. DC ground construction allows static dissipation for low noise ratio and maximum lightning protection.
Vertical polarization with 50 Ohms impedance. The antenna comes with a cutting chart. In order to tune the antenna, you will need to unscrew the setscrew located at the bottom section where the radials screw in.Unscrew the setscrew and slide the element out of the fiberglass mast to trim it, then slide it back in and tighten the setscrew. Important: you do not need to cut the fiberglass part!
