On the air testing has shown no one can tell which antenna I'm on. This listing is for those that already have one of my single antennas and wish to add/phase a second for added gain. This listing is for one (1) 2 meter (144-146 MHz) antenna + a matching Phasing Harness.
Two antennas phased together (one above the other) produce a much stronger signal at a lower angle. Built and tested right here in the USA. No whimpy element or flimsy tuning here. Sleek, simple, built to last for years to come.
Rover/mobile tested at or above highway speeds. Works great for VHF/UHF contests. For use on digital mode like FT4/FT8 as well as cw and ssb. Can be mounted on a mast pipe or mounted right to the side of your Rohn 25 tower.
Usable Frequency:------------- 144 to 146 MHz (adjustable). Coax connection:--------------- SO-239 Silver Plated (female). Mounting Plate:---------------- 3/8 inch x 1 inch x 4 inch aluminum bar. Mast Clamp:-------------------- 1-1/2 inch stainless steel U-bolt type with aluminum saddle. Minimum mounting height above ground:-- 12 feet.
Stacking distance between two antennas:--- 65 to 68 inches. Gain figures:------ 2 to 6 dBd -------- Depends on height above ground/angle/obstructions/surroundings/etc. The antenna and matching phasing harness comes assembled and tested.
The swr is set to 1.2 to 1 or less at 144.200 MHz. An Allen wrench is provided for adjusting the swr if needed. Beldon 8238 RG-11U 75 Ohm coax. This is the flexible type with a multi-braid center conductor. Not the cheap solid center conductor coax others use.
