Outdoor Dual Band 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi Omni Directional Antenna
This antenna is Celluteq's CE6022-D8, Outdoor Dual-band WiFi Omni-directional Antenna. It is designed for applications of the latest WiFi standard, 802.11ac, as well as the older ones, 802.11a/b/g/n. The construction of the antenna is intended for outdoor usage, which allows users to install the antenna outside buildings to avoid drastic loss of signal strength when signal penetrating building walls. Thus, usage of this antenna normally can significantly increase the wireless coverage range and signal quality in an outdoor environment such as between buildings or between building and open space (this antenna is not recommended for indoor usage because it does not offer significant benefits to justify its much higher cost).
The gains of the antenna are moderate, which turns out to be beneficial in many conditions because they are less susceptible to signals multi-path effects. The antenna is constructed of UV stable fiberglass with aluminum mounting tube, and it is rugged, relatively lightweight and weatherproof. A set of hardware for pole up to 2.5(6.5cm) diameter mounting is included (see photo for mounting configuration). The key specifications are as follow.
